New Stuff/Waiting

There are so many new things in my life right now, and there are also many things I am waiting for to happen, but they are all long processes. Such as changing my name on everything (which is also new..I'm still getting used to saying a new last name) and getting a job.  Trevor and I were sealed in the San Diego Temple on June 22! That was the best thing that ever happened to me! And it was such a wonderful day. So many friends and family members were able to come and spend the day with us, it means so much to me to know how many people love and support us. We only have a few pictures right now, but here are some...

Since we've been married, which has been almost three weeks, we went on a cruise to Catalina and Ensenada, then headed to our new apartment in Utah. It's been a fun, new, journey for both of us! Trevor is working right now and I'm just looking for a job. I turned in an application today, so fingers are crossed that all goes well, but if not, I'll keep looking. While Trevor is at work all day, I somehow keep myself pretty busy. The first few days consisted of lots of unpacking and organizing. Now that's pretty much done so I write thank you cards, do laundry, go to the gym, make dinner, find free couches, read, go on facebook, go on pinterest, it really is a party over here! I'm sitting here all day wishing I was busy, but I know once school starts that I'll be wishing I had nothing to do again. It's such a dilemma. But I really am having fun, and I love when Trevor gets home from work! Since he works close, I visit him sometimes and had lunch with him one day during his break.

I just wanted to share a few pictures from the last little while. (Some need to be rotated, but I'm new at this so I'll figure it out next time)

The first meal we had in our new apartment..tacos! They were yummy, and there was enough to feed Trevor.

The day we moved in it was about 90 degrees. We bought an AC unit that night and installed it at 11:30 at night so we would not die in the night. We have wood holding it up now, it looks a lot more classy.

This is the bigger of our two new/free couches! Thanks to family members, we were able to get them. And my grandma helped me make the pillows while I was home before the wedding.

Before church. We have a balcony, nice shady trees, and a playground. We feel a little young in our ward since most couples have at least one kid.

Cute cousins came to visit. They liked to jump on the bed. My mother-in-law made the cute quilt!

  2. It's great to be able to see what you and Trevor are up to! We were over at your parent's house last night. Your dad was so nice to take some pictures of us before Ben is off to the MTC tomorrow! And Katie took a swim in the pool. Your wedding day was so beautiful! Good luck on the job hunt! -Sis J :)
