Wow, what a week it has been! I am pretty sure this week will be the most memorable one of the whole semester...and that's not just because it was finals week. It has been draining physically, emotionally, and mentally. I'll just go a day at a time.
Sunday:
-Went to my old roommate Elizabeth's farewell. She is going to be such an awesome missionary and I will miss her so much!
- Made dinner for us and eight people from our ward (and who knew I could even cook!?)
- Home Teachers came over at night and I started to feel a cold coming on
Monday:
- First day of finals (luckily I didn't have any).
- Trevor started a new job. He is liking it so far!
- I fainted in the Cougareat while Trevor was taking a final (There will be a whole post dedicated to this event).
Tuesday:
- Final at 7am
- Final at 12 pm
- Final at 6 pm
Wednesday:
- Hair cut day from my amazing cousin. And it wasn't just any hair cut, I got bangs! I probably had them when I was like 5 so I was hoping I wouldn't look 5 again. But so far I'm loving them!
- Worked and then was going to take a final but wasn't feeling great again, so I headed home
Thursday:
- Took my final in the morning
- Worked
- Took my last final at 7 pm! My body held out for me while it needed to, but right after I finished that last test, the cold hit me even harder and I had the worst time sleeping. I'm so grateful I was able to make it through the week feeling pretty good.
Friday:
- Worked
- Went to the Social Security office to change my last name (finally), and I will get the rest done next week!
- It's 8 pm now and poor Trevor is sitting in the testing center finishing his last final. He has done so much for me this week, started a new job, and still studied so hard. He is the best!
So it's been a wild week, but I'm so grateful for it because I know it has already made me stronger. And it was a great semester! Everyone always told me that school got easier once you were married...that was not the case for us! But I am so happy with my grades, all the wonderful people I met this semester, and that Trevor and I were able to support each other every step of the way.
I give you both an A+. Now hurry home!
