Stay-Cation

We had such a fun and busy week last week! I attended my first ever Clark Family Reunion, we celebrated my father-in-law's birthday, and my mom was in town for Education Week! My mom called it mine and Trevor's stay-cation. Here are some of the other activities from our fun filled week.

On Wednesday, Trevor and I went on a double-date with our friends Taylor and Jill to the Utah County State Fair.  And the whole reason we went to the fair was to see the PIG WRESTLING! (And no, the pigs don't wrestle each other). It was quite the experience. Pigs are my favorite animal, so it was sad watching/hearing them squeal so loud, but they were all ok and didn't get hurt. There were four different divisions: pee-wee, intermediate, women, and men. And the pigs got bigger for each division. There were four people in each group, and basically, they had to put the pig in a bucket in the middle of a mud pit as fast as they could. Each group also had a team name and dressed up for their big debut. Because it is way better to see, here are some pictures and videos.

Lovely huh?

On Friday, my mom took us to the Vocal Point performance. They are a male a cappella group at BYU. They are amazing and so fun to watch! They were on the show Sing-Off this past year and did really well.

Saturday, we took a trip to Salt Lake. We met Trevor's sister and her husband at Costco so we could buy a new battery for Trevor's car. They are the best! The rest of the day, we hung out at the Clark Planetarium and the City Creek Mall.

It was such a fun day! And who knew I would become famous when I got married? It's great to be a Clark!

Yesterday for Family Home Evening, we replaced the car battery, and we didn't die. We can pretty much go into a car repair business now.
